MRS. HELENA CARRATALA MANDER – Madam Helena Carratalà was born in Barcelona, Spain on 13 July 1951. She used to be a Prima Donna of the Rag Trade as commented by a famous personality – Ms. Julie Yap Daza, Manila Women’s Wear, 1979. She’s truly a wholly creative, brave and focused human being, who pursued her dream of the “Utopian World”. She has done everything to prove that impossible is possible.
Now, her “Utopia” is called “Mangenguey”- an island in Busuanga, Palawan. The long lost paradise, where you can witness the true beauty of nature. www.mangenguey.com
“Mangenguey is an exquisite and remote 13 hectare virgin island located in the southern waters of The Philippine Archipelago in The Calamianes, Northern Palawan (119* 52’ 9.75”E and 12* 00’ 36.05”N). Comparable in natural beauty to the best in the world, the island is located at the center of the Coral Triangle, one of the world’s richest but unfortunately most endangered marine biodiversity zones. It is blessed with over 43 bird species, monitor lizards, hawksbill turtles, dugongs, dolphins and an abundance of other natural wonders” – Helena Carratala Mander
Who else in the world has made their impossible imaginings existed? Maybe none just, yet, because it’s not an easy labor.
